Maria Assumpta Nassolo Ssanyu was born to Omulangira Peter Kimera and Omuzaana Josephine Nazziwa in Mutundwe. She is the fifth among 7 siblings.
Maria attended Kampala Parents School for her primary education, she went to St. Lawrence School and Mugwanya Summit College for her O’level. For A’level, she attended Ntinda View College.
She later enrolled for bachelor’s degree in computer science at Makerere University. She also attended her post graduate studies in International Business relations from United Kingdom. Professionally, she ventured in her own businesses in Uganda and UK.
She got married in 2011 and gave birth to two sons; Jeremiah Mukisa and Julani Kendall.
She was full of life, loved people, outgoing and welcoming to everyone, irrespective of status or age. We will dearly miss her.
